Your Partial Load and Part-Time Colleagues 

There are 3 categories of faculty at Conestoga.  Full-time, partial load, sessional/part-time.  These categories are compensated differently and have different levels of benefits.  Equal pay for equal work has been a demand in past negotiations.  The local continues to fight for equality and represent Conestoga members in discussions with management and OPSEU.

Full-Time: Paid on a salary-basis SWF between 40-44 hours per week, employer-paid benefits

Partial Load: More than six and up to and including 12 hours per week

 

Sessional/Part Time: Paid for the teaching contact hours and can access self-paid benefits
